Welcome to Herofinder (“the Platform”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), operated by Herofinder Ltd., a company incorporated in England and Wales. By accessing or using our Platform, you (“User”, “you”) agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1 Definition

For clarity, the following terms shall have the meanings below:

  • “Platform”: The digital platform “Herofinder,” operated by Herofinder Ltd., including its software, website (https://herofinder.io/), subdomains, the beta web application (https://beta.herofinder.io/), and any related services or content provided therein.
  • “Hero Diagnosis”: An in-Platform assessment that provides Users with suggested personal traits, strengths, or interests.
  • “Hero Mission”: A simulated task or activity within the Platform, designed for experiential learning purposes.
  • “Hero Badge”: A digital recognition or certificate awarded to a User upon completing a Hero Mission.
  • “Individual Account”: A personal account created by a natural person using the Platform
  • “Corporate Account”: An account created by a registered or unregistered organisation (including companies, nonprofits, institutions, and associations) to participate in the Platform. For clarity, in the beta version of the Platform, all Corporate Accounts are considered Host Organisations.
  • “Host Organisation”: A Corporate Account that participates in the Platform by showcasing its activities, providing content, or offering Hero Missions. A Host Organisation has responsibilities regarding the accuracy and ownership of the content it uploads, and for any feedback it provides to Individual Users.
  • “User”: Any natural or legal person who accesses or uses the Platform, including Individual Accounts, Corporate Accounts, Host Organisations, and unregistered visitors.


2 Use of the Platform

The Platform is provided solely for educational, experiential, and informational purposes. It does not create any legally binding employment, volunteer, or contractual relationship between Users, or between Users and Corporate Accounts.


3 Eligibility

Access to general information on the Platform (such as company pages, news, or press releases) is not restricted by age. However, creating an Individual Account, using Hero Diagnosis, participating in Hero Missions, or otherwise engaging with interactive features is only permitted for individuals aged 18 or older, or with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.


4 No Fees (Beta Version)

During the current beta phase, Herofinder does not charge any fees to Users or Corporate Accounts. This may change in the future, subject to updated Terms of Use.


5 No Warranties / Disclaimers

  • The Hero Diagnosis is intended as an informational and reflective tool only. It is not professional advice, including but not limited to medical, psychological, or career counseling.
  • We make no representations or warranties as to the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any content provided in the Platform.
  • Participation in a Hero Mission or receipt of a Hero Badge does not guarantee employability, professional competency, or eligibility for any position.


6 Limitation of Liability

  • Herofinder shall not be liable for any losses, damages, or disputes arising from interactions between Users or between Individual and Corporate Accounts.
  • We shall not be responsible for any third-party content uploaded by Corporate Accounts, including but not limited to videos, documents, or links.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Herofinder disclaims all liability for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the Platform.
  • Herofinder shall not be liable for any content, feedback, or materials uploaded or provided by Host Organisations.


7 Intellectual Property Rights

  • All intellectual property rights in the Platform, including but not limited to software, design, graphics, databases, and trademarks, remain the sole property of Herofinder Ltd. or its licensors.
  • Content uploaded by Corporate Accounts or Host Organisations (e.g., videos, documents, images, descriptions) shall remain the property of the uploading entity. By uploading such content, the entity grants Herofinder Ltd. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to host, display, distribute, and otherwise use such materials within the Platform and for promotional, research, or educational purposes directly related to the Platform’s operation.
  • Individual Users retain ownership of any personal content (e.g., feedback, comments, or inputs) they contribute, but by submitting such content, they grant Herofinder Ltd. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and process the content solely for the purposes of operating the Platform.
  • Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without prior written permission from Herofinder Ltd., unless explicitly permitted under applicable law.
  • Certain features of the Platform are protected by intellectual property rights of Herofinder Ltd., including pending patent applications, copyrights, and trade secrets.


8 Account Suspension & Content Removal

Herofinder reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend, restrict, or terminate any account, or to remove or disable access to any content, with or without notice, in cases including but not limited to:

  • Provision of false, misleading, or incomplete registration information.
  • Misuse of the Platform for purposes outside its intended educational, experiential, and informational scope.
  • Uploading or distributing content that is violent, sexually explicit, discriminatory, offensive, unlawful, or otherwise harmful.
  • Infringement or suspected infringement of third-party intellectual property rights.
  • Conduct that may compromise the security, integrity, or reputation of the Platform, Herofinder Ltd., its Users, or the public.
  • Repeated failure to comply with these Terms of Use or the Privacy Policy.

Herofinder further reserves the right to:

  • Remove content or suspend accounts in response to complaints, takedown requests, or legal obligations.
  • Cooperate with law enforcement or regulators where required by applicable law.

Suspension or termination of an account does not relieve the User (or Corporate/Host Organisation) from any obligations that accrued prior to such action.


9 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Where required for compliance (e.g., Expo participation or Japanese users), Herofinder may provide localized exceptions or additional notices under Japanese law.


10 Privacy Policy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.


11 Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Herofinder Ltd（以下「当社」）が運営する「Herofinder」（以下「プラットフォーム」）へようこそ。プラットフォームにアクセスまたは利用することで、ユーザー（以下「ユーザー」または「あなた」）は本利用規約に同意したものとみなされます。もし同意されない場合は、プラットフォームをご利用にならないでください。

1 定義

本利用規約における主要な用語の定義は以下のとおりです。

• 「プラットフォーム」: Herofinder Ltd が運営するデジタルプラットフォーム「Herofinder」を指し、ソフトウェア、ウェブサイト​(​https://herofinder.io/）、サブドメイン、β版ウェブアプリ（https://beta.herofinder.io/）、および関連サービス・コンテンツを含みます。

• 「ヒーロー診断」: プラットフォーム上で提供される、ユーザーの特性・強み・関心を示すためのアセスメント。

• 「ヒーローミッション」: プラットフォーム内で提供される、体験型学習を目的とした模擬タスクまたは活動。

• 「ヒーローバッジ」: ユーザーがヒーローミッションを完了した際に付与されるデジタル認定や証明。

• 「個人アカウント」: 自然人がプラットフォームを利用するために作成するアカウント。

• 「法人アカウント」: 登記の有無を問わず、企業・非営利法人・教育機関・協会等の組織がプラットフォームに参加するために作成するアカウント。β版においては、すべての法人アカウントはホスト団体とみなされます。

• 「ホスト団体」: プラットフォームに参加し、活動紹介、コンテンツ提供、ヒーローミッションの実施を行う法人アカウント。アップロードするコンテンツの正確性と権利、個人ユーザーへのフィードバック提供について責任を負います。

• 「ユーザー」: プラットフォームにアクセスまたは利用するすべての自然人または法人を指し、個人アカウント・法人アカウント・ホスト団体・未登録の訪問者を含みます。

2 プラットフォームの利用

プラットフォームは教育的・体験的・情報提供の目的でのみ提供されます。ユーザー間、またはユーザーと法人アカウント間に、法的拘束力を持つ雇用関係、ボランティア契約、契約関係が発生するものではありません。

3 利用資格

プラットフォーム上の一般的な情報（企業ページ、ニュース、プレスリリース等）へのアクセスは年齢制限を受けません。 ただし、個人アカウントの作成、ヒーロー診断の利用、ヒーローミッションへの参加、その他インタラクティブ機能の利用は、18歳以上の方、または保護者・法定代理人の同意を得た場合に限られます。

4 手数料（β版）

現在のβ版の段階において、当社はユーザーまたは法人アカウントから手数料を徴収しません。将来的に本規約を改定し、料金体系を変更する可能性があります。

5 保証の否認・免責事項

  • ヒーロー診断は情報提供および自己省察のためのツールにすぎず、医療、心理、キャリア相談などの専門的アドバイスを提供するものではありません。
  • プラットフォーム上で提供されるコンテンツの正確性・完全性・有用性について、当社は保証しません。
  • ヒーローミッションへの参加やヒーローバッジの受領は、雇用適性、専門能力、職務資格を保証するものではありません。

6 責任の制限

  • ユーザー間、または個人アカウントと法人アカウント間のやり取りに起因する損害・紛争について、当社は一切の責任を負いません。
  • 法人アカウントがアップロードするコンテンツ（動画・文書・リンク等）について、当社は責任を負いません。
  • 適用法の範囲で最大限において、当社は直接的・間接的・付随的・結果的損害に対して責任を負いません。
  • ホスト団体が提供するコンテンツ、フィードバック、資料についても、当社は責任を負いません。

7 知的財産権

  • プラットフォームに関するすべての知的財産権（ソフトウェア、デザイン、グラフィック、データベース、商標等）は、当社またはライセンサーの専有財産です。
  • 法人アカウントやホスト団体がアップロードするコンテンツ（動画・文書・画像・説明等）は、その提供者の所有物であり、当社に対し、プラットフォームの運営・宣伝・研究・教育目的で利用する非独占的・世界的・ロイヤリティフリー・譲渡可能なライセンスを付与します。
  • 個人ユーザーが提供するフィードバック・コメント・入力等もユーザーに所有権が残りますが、当社はプラットフォーム運営のために非独占的・世界的・ロイヤリティフリーのライセンスを取得します。
  • 当社の事前書面による許可なく、プラットフォームの複製・頒布・派生物の作成は禁止されます（適用法で明示的に認められる場合を除く）。
  • プラットフォームの一部機能は、当社の知的財産権（出願中の特許、著作権、営業秘密等）により保護されています。

8 アカウント停止およびコンテンツ削除

当社は、以下を含む事由において、予告の有無を問わず、アカウントの停止・制限・終了、またはコンテンツへのアクセス削除を行う権利を有します。

  • 虚偽、不正確、不完全な登録情報の提供
  • 教育的・体験的・情報提供の目的外でのプラットフォームの不正使用
  • 暴力的・性的・差別的・不快・違法または有害なコンテンツのアップロード・配布
  • 第三者の知的財産権の侵害、またはその疑い
  • プラットフォームの安全性・信頼性・評判を損なう行為
  • 本利用規約またはプライバシーポリシーに繰り返し違反した場合

当社はさらに、苦情、削除要請、法的義務に応じてコンテンツやアカウントを削除・停止する権利を留保します。 なお、アカウント停止・終了後も、それ以前に発生した義務は免除されません。

9 準拠法

本利用規約は、イングランドおよびウェールズの法令に準拠し、これに従って解釈されます。必要に応じて（例：万博参加、日本のユーザー対応）、日本法に基づく例外的措置や追加通知を提供する場合があります。

10 プライバシーポリシー

ユーザーによるプラットフォームの利用には、当社のプライバシーポリシーも適用されます。同ポリシーは本利用規約の一部を構成します。

11 規約の変更

当社は随時、本利用規約を改定することがあります。改定後にプラットフォームを利用することで、更新内容に同意したものとみなされます。
